I believe this is one of the most beautiful vessels that I have ever created. It started with a spontaneous painting on the wet clay and progressed to an image that uses both 2 dimensional linework and 3 dimensional incisized marking, with a selection of calm glazes and a spell in a high fired kiln to finish it.
This is an example of the unique possibilities of clay over any other medium.
